Split view Xmas for Mac users

I have started using split view on Mac. It took some juggling to have two app windows open side by side. Even more troublesome is exchanging one of them with another app.

I personally believe the most intuitive way to choose two opened apps for split view is selecting two of them from Mission Control and pick a context menu item. That would be like xmas!
